 Description

Chinese cuisine is extensive and profound, different places have totally different dishes. Sichuan and Shanghai dishes are very popular among Hong Kong people. Besides eating out in restaurants, you can try cooking them at home. Our tutor, Connie will teach you to cook two classic dishes from Sichuan and Shanghai. They are the Sichuan twice cooked pork and Shanghai smoked fish. Twice-cooked pork is pre-cooked pork belly and then stir-fried with Sichuan's unique spices. The fatty meat tastes not greasy and keeps its chewy texture. It is a very good dish for wine. As for the Shanghai smoked fish, it is an appetizer dish. The fish is crispy outside and soft inside. Connie will teach you how to make authentic method for these dishes.
